New features in January 2018

In January 2018 daylight has seen a new version of the 7.15.0 system, and with it many interesting features and solutions.
The most important changes to the current version of Baseline ™ are described below.

Presentation of the sales process in the form of a checklist
The graphical presentation of the sales process is not always sufficient to meet the specific requirements of some industries. We have created an alternative form of the process in the form of an extensive checklist of activities. Each subsequent checklist item may, after marking it, influence the progress of the sales process or serve only for information purposes.

For the needs of CRM, the functionality of tables available in the Intranet module was adopted. Each Deal can have its own table, where traders exchange insights and put comments / documents. This form of keeping an activity journal in some cases seems to be more appropriate.

Group change in the date of payment of cost invoices
The functionality is available from the system level of the Cost invoice list. It allows you to change the payment date in a wholesale way without having to change any invoice separately.

Absence Calendar extension
We have expanded the Absence Calendar in such a way that it would be possible to present additional forms of absence, such as eg Delegation. For this purpose, we have introduced changes that can display different types of absences by means of separate colors, which in practice greatly facilitates their differentiation.

User’s agreements handling (RODO)
The entry into force of the RODO regulations has resulted in the creation of a mechanism for sending and receiving consents directly under each contact connected with the relationship with the Dealer or the Contractor. The system administrator can add new categories of consent, which makes the mechanism very flexible.

Quick send pictures via chat
We have simplified the ability to upload images and so-called screenshots via internal chat. Just copy the image or printscreen, and then paste in the chat window using the popular keyboard shortcut CTRL + V.

Quick preview of process details from the list of Workflow items
We have provided the functionality of a quick preview of process details from the list of Workflow items. People who approve large amounts of invoice documents no longer have to open each document individually. The summary view of details appears in the form of a floating pop-up window after hovering over the selected item from the list.

Converting the exchange rate after the date of sale
In some cases, the Accounting Act requires that in the case of foreign exchange invoices, the exchange rate should be converted based on the date of sale instead of the date of issue. At the moment the registering user has the possibility to choose the reference date, which will be used by the algorithm calculating the date of exchange of the exchange rate.

Generating a pdf offer that has many graphical elements can affect the large size of the resulting file and its display time. Compression of images can reduce this time and file size considerably.

The OCR mechanism has been adapted to support popular languages
The next version of the OCR mechanism has been thoroughly expanded to handle two very popular languages: English and German. This significantly shortened the time of registration of foreign-language invoices.

Registration of many invoices from a single e-mail
It often happens that the provider sends several invoices in one e-mail. In this situation, the Baseline ™ system will enable registration by converting e-mails into several separate Invoices.

Support for new fields on the Sales invoice
We have expanded the system registration and editing form of Sales Invoices with new fields that must appear in some situations on the printout of the invoice document.

Voip integration
The Voip plugin is a new item in the Baseline offer. It integrates the capabilities of the telephone exchange with the Baseline ™ system and allows you to make and receive phone calls from clients directly from the Baseline ™ system, which displays the customer card when establishing a connection and allows you to view the call log and listen to recorded calls. We can communicate with many VoIP telephony service providers.

People search within workflow
We solved the problem related to the selection of people to pass the action, when the list of people is very extensive. Dynamic search engine easily reduces the search time of the right person by highlighting its position on the list of transmissions.

Searching for contacts by phone number
The record search algorithm has been extended with the long-awaited functionality of searching contacts by phone number. The mechanism has been implemented for both the main search engine and search engines available from the Dealer and Counterparties list.

Support for ZUS payments to individual bank accounts
The change in the form of ZUS payment implementation underlies the implementation of the mechanism that prepares the orders of ZUS bank orders for an individual bank account assigned by the Social Insurance Institution.

We carried out database-based tuning of critical system areas such as the list of documents, the list of activities, the search panel, and the details of the element. To this end, we used the full-text search mechanism to present results to users even faster.

Support for surveys via SMS / e-mail
We have developed a special mechanism by means of which you can implement a survey based on SMS or e-mail. A special survey form is sent to recipients (customers, partners, suppliers) in the form of a www link. Dedicated reports collect and format the answers to a collective form that facilitates analysis and decision making.

Highlighting the list of priority actions
The workflow activities panel has been extended with an additional list of activities created with a high priority for implementation. This treatment helps in the first place to deal with matters more important from the point of view of doing business. We have prepared the same functionality for the Tasks module.
